Who had the worst husband?: Emma Elizabeth Smith on Henry the VIII

Emma Elizabeth Smith portrays Henry VIII’s first wife, Catherine of Aragon, in the musical Six, a modern retelling of the lives (and deaths) of the king’s six wives. The musical is a singing competition between the wives, arguing for who had the worst experience with Henry. Emma discusses the unique, concert-like format of the play, crowd interactions, and her approach to embodying her character. Emma also suggests how I could spruce up my look with a pink ponytail, so listen in and get your tickets for the December 16th to 21st performances in Columbus.
